Predicated on Governor Cooper’s lockdown edict “relaxing” on May 8th:
Prior to June 1st - email and require all volunteers to review and sign/acknowledge their review of CDC guideline for social distancing and use of face masks
The Program Director will have The Resource Center thoroughly cleaned before resuming the Wednesday schedule (10:00 am - 1:00 pm)
Week of June 1 begin to implement Wednesday schedule (10:00 am - 1:00 pm)
Volunteers are welcome to wear their own masks
Continue regularly monthly meetings with Home Visitors and Mentors to ascertain their engagement with participants, essential needs of participants as well as Home Visitor/Mentor coping strategies through Covid 19
There may be a need for limited face-to-face interaction while allowing for social distancing based on the comfort level of the Home Visitor/Mentor/Participant.
There is a possibility for small meetings to be allowed, such as Intake Meetings. Usually 7 people attend an Intake meeting but a restriction would now be no more than 10 people may attend.
All new volunteers will be contacted by email be required to review and sign/acknowledge their review of CDC guideline for social distancing and use of face masks
The purchase of a contact free thermometer should be completed before June 1.
Anyone entering the building must take and record their temperature along with the date and time. If more than 100.4 degrees F must leave and should consult their physician.
The State edict will could/should begin the week of June 29th but that far out if could be compressed or expanded due to the number of new cases of the Corona Virus. We will have a better idea in the interim as to how it will affect our event activities.
